Names Michelle Reid-Powell Executive Director, Strategic Services Chicago, IL — The CARA Group, Inc., a leader in custom learning, performance and change management solutions, today announced that Michelle Reid-Powell joined the organization in the newly created role of Executive Director, Strategic Services. CARA is broadening its footprint in change management, leadership development and learning transformation services. Reid-Powell will be responsible for leading the company’s expanded service offerings. “CARA sees significant opportunity in the market as the economy recovers and global growth creates the need to focus on talent acquisition, collaboration, innovation, leadership development and change management,” said Tina Jandris, CARA’s Vice President and General Manager. “Our clients are focusing on filling the gaps in their leadership pipelines and creating training that addresses the skills required for their new products and changes in their business. We want to be positioned to help our clients meet the challenges of these new market conditions.” Reid-Powell brings to CARA practical experience and global insight in workforce learning, leadership development and talent management. Most recently as Senior Director of Training and Leadership Development at Potbelly Sandwich Works, she helped the organization achieve extraordinary growth goals by developing talent. Prior to Potbelly, she held positions of increasing responsibility at Arthur Andersen and McDonald’s Corporation. Reid-Powell earned a Masters in Education; Adult Learning, Instructional Technology, and Instructional Design from Northern Illinois University. “Michelle joins the CARA team as we are growing our solutions line and deepening our services experience. She is a leader who brings more than 20 years of industry expertise to our team,” said Jandris. “Her proven success in the learning solutions marketplace will be instrumental to our continued expansion.” Reid-Powell remarked, “I personally know CARA as a firm that is committed to building positive relationships and delivering results because I was a satisfied client.
