Continuously Support CARA’s Standards, Processes and Best Practices
As a Managing Consultant in CARA’s Service Delivery group, I provide technical support to CARA’s consultants and implement internal processes and programs to ensure our consultants have the tools necessary to meet and exceed client expectations.
How I Got Here
After graduating from Drake University with a degree in Psychology and a minor in Music, I obtained a certificate in electronics and was hired by Honeywell as a computer service field engineer. I quickly realized that carrying a tool bag was not my forte, found a job in the software training field — and finally found my niche!
Over the years I have worked for several consulting firms, starting as a field consultant then moving to the corporate side as a staff manager. Most recently I worked for the Bronner Group as the manager of the Learning Services group.
Why I Joined CARA
About five years ago, I met a CARA recruiter and was intrigued by the organization and its unique approach to building and maintaining consultant relationships. The time wasn’t right, however, for me to join CARA, but in early 2010 the stars aligned properly and CARA announced an opening in the Service Delivery group. As I was going through the interview process, I realized that CARA is an organization that truly lives its PURE values… and I wanted to be a part of it. In April 2010, I finally became a member of the CARA family.
