MarthaMy Role on the CARA Team

Enable clients’ success through CARA’s Strategic Services Offerings

As CARA’s Vice President of Sales and Marketing, my role is to ensure that our clients and CARA have the right resources and successful approaches for effective workforce adoption, change management and human performance effectiveness.  By ensuring we understand both our clients’ unique needs and the market’s needs, CARA can continue to be a proactive partner to our clients, and help them realize greater organizational success and ROI, through effective human performance and change management approaches.

How I Got Here

My career has always drawn me to align with the “human” side of business to the business/organizational goals.  I have held marketing, consulting and sales roles in the Management Consulting and Human Resources/Talent Management Services areas across the employee lifecycle (talent acquisition, development & learning, and workforce transition). My passion has been to learn from leaders and organizations who are successful through effective workforce/human performance commitment and approaches.

My educational background includes Industrial & Operations Engineering Bachelor’s degree from The University of Michigan, and an MBA from Northwestern’s Kellogg School of Management in Marketing and Strategy.  I always continue to seek learning opportunities, either through formal or informal education, but hope to gain additional expertise in Change Management/OD and Values-based Leadership, as aligned with the new business and talent strategies of the future.

Why I Joined CARA

My first manager (many years ago) and longtime friend, Tina Jandris, was passionate about CARA – therefore I knew that it must be a special place.  My opinion continued to be enhanced as I met the owners and broader CARA team.  CARA’s collaborative culture, team and commitment to high quality customer service, were the attributes that drew me to the organization.  CARA’s team is caring, while servicing clients as top priority.  I have an opportunity to learn from the best here, and can help where I can contribute my talents.
