Course Development (ILT or eLearning)
CARA is looking for consultants who have 3+ years of experience developing instructor-led (ILT) and eLearning training solutions. We seek professional and experienced developers to assist our Fortune 500 clients with their learning and performance objectives.
Qualifications:
- Knowledge of adult learning principles and the ADDIE model
- Effectively work with Instructional Designers to develop ILT, eLearning, and/or webinar courses based on course design document or storyboards
- Ability to create storyboards and templates as part of course development
- Experience developing materials, including facilitator and participant guides, job aids, visual presentations for ILT, and virtual training
- Capable of developing engaging eLearning courses that Integrate multimedia, including video and audio
- Adherence to SCORM/AICC/HTML standards
- Understanding of how to integrate eLearning with client learning management systems
- Ability to identify new development techniques that will enhance the learning experience
- Ability to understand and meet multiple client needs and deadlines
- Proficiency in MS Office, especially PowerPoint
- Experience with one or more of the following rapid development tools:
- Articulate Storyline and Presenter
- Lectora
- Captivate
- Flash, Dreamweaver, Adobe Presenter, and HTML5 also nice to have
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Ability to work independently or in a team environment
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
