CARA Announces Exciting Leadership Changes

Oak Brook, IL – The CARA Group is pleased to announce the appointment of Jim McQuaid as Chairman of the Board, effective immediately.
To succeed Jim, Michelle Reid-Powell has been named as President and CEO of CARA, also effective immediately.
Michelle has served as a member of CARA’s leadership team for 7 years, most recently as Vice President of Talent and Organizational Effectiveness, where she has been instrumental in leading CARA on its transformation to a leading learning and change management professional services firm.
Prior to CARA, Michelle held a number of strategic leadership roles in the learning and change management arena at companies including McDonald’s Corporation, marchFIRST, and Arthur Anderson. She has led high-performing teams acknowledged by Brandon Hall, The Masie Center, and Workforce Chicago. She is a recipient of the McDonald’s Ray Kroc President’s award as well as the Bryant Keil Leadership award. Michelle holds a Master of Science in Education degree from Northern Illinois University.
CARA’s Chief Operating Officer, Tina Jandris, has also announced her retirement.
Under Tina’s leadership, CARA achieved outstanding year-over-year growth and was named to the Inc. 5000 Fastest Growing Privately Held Companies for five consecutive years and Inc. 500 Honor Roll designation. Tina will remain in position throughout the remainder of the calendar year to ensure a smooth leadership transition.
