CARA Announces Quarterly PURE Award Winners: Jeff Colgan, Jennifer Priester, and Carol Wegleitner

Oak Brook, Illinois – The CARA Group, Inc., a leading human performance consulting firm, specializing in custom learning, change management and technical communication services, is pleased to announce our 2018 second quarter winners of the PURE Service Award (for exceptional service contribution in the categories of Professionalism, Understanding, Responsibility and Excellence.)

The following CARA consultants are the recipients of the PURE award.

Jeff Colgan is a Senior Organizational Change Management professional with over 20 years of business experience. He is highly respected as an OCM consultant with a proven practical approach to ensure a comprehensive strategy is planned and executed around stakeholder management, communication, change readiness and training/adoption. Jeff is a strong leader skilled at driving complex programs and projects to improve business processes and performance. He brings to every project he leads his internal and external consulting experience to ensure a strategic, but targeted approach to delivering sustained change. Jeff has been with CARA since 2016.  He is a valued member of CARA’s Consultant Advisory Board.

Jeff’s recent Project Manager shared the following comments:

Jeff Colgan has been engaged with HealthCare Service Corporation, as the Change Management Lead, to support the Provider Strong Initiative for over the past two and a half years.  In addition to exceeding expectations, he maintains an intimate knowledge of this work and has become fully embedded into the organization.  Jeff has taken a leadership position by acting as a thought partner to assist with building the strategic learning roadmap for change adoption.  His impact has been invaluable and Jeff clearly operates at a level worthy of formal PURE recognition.

Jennifer Priester is a Senior Learning and Performance Consultant with over 20 years business experience. She is a high energy professional experienced in designing and executing customized learning solutions to meet a broad range of business needs. She has an innate ability to change and identify quick wins that lead to long-term sustainable results. Jennifer has worked with several CARA clients including Argonne National Laboratories, IAT Insurance, ComEd, and West Monroe Partners.

Jennifer’s recent Project Manager shared the following comments:

Jennifer’s exceptional professionalism was consistent in her support of our company while performing a Training Needs Analysis of critical training programs. During her work on the project, Jennifer was understanding of the needs of the team that she was supporting and helped to provide a vision for the future state of the program which was well beyond our expectations. Jennifer quickly built relationships within our company that are lasting and simultaneously provided results that will be utilized to progress our learning culture and program.

Carol Wegleitner is a Senior Learning and Performance Consultant with over 20 years of business experience. She aligns creative and unique learning solutions to overall business goals. Carol is an innovative instructional designer who successfully collaborates and works across a variety of industries at all organizational levels.


Carol’s current Project Manager shared the following comments:

Her confidence and level of professionalism was very well received in her onsite presence during our project, where she led several design discussions on site with our senior stakeholders.  Carol understands our culture and our latest strategy shift.
