Perspective
Dear CARA Friends,
For the last few issues, we have focused on Change Management, and while Sheryl Crow sings about A Change Will Do You Good, we still see staggering statistics stating 70% of change and transformation initiatives fail.
One reason often cited about why change projects fail, and a misconception we hope to debunk, is that people are resistant to change. The other, probably closer to the truth is attributed to ineffective management of the people side of change. Well, we are very fortunate to have guest thought leader and retired Accenture Senior Executive, Sharon Gries, help us understand the real secrets to success in our feature article, Managing Successful Change: Recognize the Risks.
In this issue of Eolas, we hope you find other information that will “do you good,” and enjoy a peek behind the CARA curtain to meet team member, Michelle Reid-Powell.
As always, please feel free to share your comments with us.
Best,

Jane Ehrenstrom
