Recently, I was inspired by a TEDx Talk from the CEO of Burberry, Angela Ahrendts, who is now leaving to join Apple. What’s significant is that when she took the helm at Burberry in 2006, she transformed the aging, iconic firm into a relevant $3 billion brand, with a stock return of 300%. How? Through the power of human energy. Ahrendts never uses these words, but she’s talking about Change Leadership and the emotional content Leaders need to provide in order to harness the energy of those who will make change happen … or not.
